Lori Panico is a freelance photographer based in Seattle. She graduated with a BFA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is passionate about exploring new places and sharing untold stories. In particular she is driven by using photography as a means to bridge lifestyles and cultures. She has documented activism at Standing Rock and the Womens’ March and spent time in Utqiaġvik, bringing awareness to a language and culture under threat. Her work has been published by outlets such as BBC News, YES! Magazine, EcoWatch, and others.
